I have a user using 98se. I have the options set on CAD v 4.0 to not save or change files.

Is there a way I can save the printing options the user has so each time he prints he doesn't have to change the default or remembered options. Specifically I want to remember to use landscape.

Hi,

The initial page orientation for printing can be set within CAD Viewer. To set the default orientation to be 'Landscape' go to

Edit | Preferences | Printer Initial Page Orientation

- uncheck 'Use Printer Default'
- select 'Landscape'

If you need to set up other default print settings, the only way to do it is:

- change the default settings of the default printer (i.e. by selecting 'Properties' of the printer in 'Settings | Printers')
- or to make a set of default settings that only apply to CAD Viewer, create a copy of the desired printer in 'Settings | Printers' and set the desired defaults.
