I am using the demo version 5.0 and am trying to convert some simple shape files to dwg format using the markers defined in blocks dwg. I get this error eachtime I try and save using this method:

"Virtual memory error
Error is 309: Error number out of range"

If I save these without using the markers, they work fine.

Hi Dennis,

We cannot find a previous instance of that error number. However the option to use markers defined in a dwg is fairly new. Are you able to email the markers dwg and a shapefile (shp + shx + dbf) that cause the error, so that we can investigate further?

Thanks,
Software Support

I am just following up on this. Did you all get the email with the .dwg file and .shp files?

Dennis,

No we don't seem to have it. Can you please re-send? Click 'GuthCAD Software Support' at the start of this reply and then select 'Send Email to GuthCAD Software Support' in the dropdown menu.

Thanks,

Dennis,

Ok, thanks for sending the files. We have located the cause of the problem. A software update (Arcv2CAD 5.0 A.12) is now here (http://www.guthcad.com/download.htm) which should hopefully fix. (Let us know of course if not.)

Thanks,
