We are currently evaluating using CAD Viewer to replace AutoCAD for some of our employees that only need to be able to open drawings and search for text in order to locate a component on one of our circuit boards. In the process of using the product over the last several days, I have found a strange behavior when using the "Match Whole Word Only" option in the Find Text dialog.

Most of our component labels are a single letter followed by a number, e.g. R1 or M5 etc. What I have found is that searching for a string such as "R1" with "Match Whole Word Only" checked will find the instance of R1 but also R19 (and I think any combination of R19*). As best I can tell, there seems to be something strange about how the "Match Whole Word Only" works with the number 9.

I am currently using a demo copy of version 5.0 A.42 and would appreciate any insight anyone might have about this issue. Thanks in advance.

Matt
