I am still using Cad V 5 viewer but when I attempt to open a file I get and error code: Error(1) Reading DWF

Never had this happen before

Hi Jim,

If it is CAD Viewer 5.0 any of minor revisions A.68, A.69, or A.70, then please download CAD Viewer 5.0 A.70a from our Software Archives page (http://www.guthcad.com/archives.htm). Note that after you install the software the version will still display '5.0 A.70' in the 'About' dialog rather than '5.0 A.70a'. This is because the main software executable is the same, just the install includes an updated DLL, which was the cause of the problem. (The very early minor revisions of CAD Viewer 6 are also affected by this problem, if using CV 6, make sure to download the latest software.)

If you still get an error after updating the software, or you are not using any of the above listed minor revisions, it must be a different problem, and then of course please let us know (we may need you to send us the DWF in that case.)
