How to measure area

I wonder hove to measure area in i only get length when usint point to point in Cad wiewer version 6.0.

Hi,

CAD Viewer 6.0 area measurements are limited to rectangular areas which are orthogonal with the X and Y axes. To measure such an area use Point to Point across the diagonal of the rectangle.

CAD Viewer 7.0 Markup (http://www.guthcad.com/cadviewer_markup.htm) gives the ability to measure any irregular shaped polygons, and also highlight the area, and add a measurement label to the drawing. See attached image.
