Annotation Angles ??

I've been trying to convert the Annotation layer of a CAD file to a shape file, but the angle of the CAD Annotation labels are not being honored. I've got the angle box checked in the "Attributes" window, but it still places the labels horizontal in the shapefile. Does anyone have any thoughts? :confused:

Hi Farrow,

If the output format of the text has been selected as 'Polyline', then it is a known problem. It is being worked on, and should fixed in a new software update hopefully within a couple of days.

(I'll post a follow up to this to let you know when it is done.)

The software update is ready. It is version 2.0 A.20 here.

It should now honor text with with rotations.
