Error code 172 Attempt to add duplicate handle

I am using 4.0 A.128.

When trying to open a dwg file I get the above error. The entire message reads"

ERROR. Could not load DXF/DWG file.

Pathname(0):C:\Cadviewer4\T\~tmp2k00.dfx.
Error code is 172: Attempt to add duplicate handle

Thanks for sending the drawing. AutoCAD 2004 reports that the drawing has errors:

"11 errors were detected during reading the drawing, we recommend using the RECOVER command..."

Unfortunately even after using Recover several times, errors remain. I have emailed you back the drawing that has been recovered as far as we could take it. CAD Viewer will read that version ok.
