When installing from network I get no shortcut on the desktop and none in the start menu. How do I fix that?

Hi,
Both items can be fairly easily added manually. E.g. in XP
1. For the desktop icon, right click on the desktop and select New | Shortcut, and then locate viewer4.exe.
2. To add to the Programs menu, drag the newly created desktop icon at item 1 above, onto the 'Start | All Programs' menu.

Fairly easily added manually on 100 licenses? Are you kidding me? Nevermind that.
Next problem:
I first did an upgrade on the server but the clients still got the old version. I did a clean install on the server and now I get the error message "Dimarrw1.df3 canīt be opened" and the application quits. Now what?

Hi,
You should find dimarrw1.df3 in the installation directory on your server. For the client machines it needs to be copied to the folder where viewer4.exe is located on the client machine.
Our network install (so-called!) did not get updated to refer to dimarrw1.df3 instead of dimarrw0.df3 which it replaces, and which would most likely be the cause of the error. Our apologies for that. (It will be rectified in the next software update release, but simply copying the file as above should also fix it.)
