Is there a method for extruding polygonZ shape files to 3D objects using Arc2CAD?
The file I am attempting to convert to DXF contains Roof_Elev data in the 'Feautre Attributes', but all elevation options become unavailable after selecting this shape file.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
In theory polygonZ shape files should already contain 3D objects, and that is the reason that the extrude option in Arcv2CAD becomes unavailable for 'Z' shapefile types.
So my first advice would simply be to check that you don't already have 3D data. E.g. do the translation in Arcv2CAD, then look at the resultant DXF file in AutoCAD. (If you don't have AutoCAD, use our CAD Viewer software here http://www.guthcad.com/dlviewer.htm, select View|3D Views or Inquire|Entity to see if the objects are 3D.)
If you know definitely that your PolygonZ shapefile only has 2D data, then a workaround is to convert the shapefile back to 2D.
Otherwise we can look at enabling the extrude even for 3D shapefiles.
