Question Region extents: use current, display variance

v5.0 Build 57.
USE CURRENT
When I elect to use current extents for further conversions in the session (see attached 'Region Use Current'), and check the setting before the next conversion, the check box is no longer ticked. It may be that the extents are still operating but it would give me more surety if the check box remained ticked during a session until unticked. As it is I have to go in there each time.

EXTENT DISPLAY
When I set extents in the Region panel (see attached 'Region as entered') and go back to the main panel, the extents in the upper right panel are different (see attached 'Region at save'). Why is that?

Thanks, Ken Dowling

Hello Ken,

We have put a software update on our download page that remedies the 'Use current Region Extents for other translations during the session' not retaining it's checkmark problem.

ArcvCAD 5.0 A.59

Re. the 'Extents Display' on the main window displaying the full extents of the shapefile rather the extents of the currently selected region, this is by design. We can see that it could be useful to display the selected region extents also, it may be added in a future version.

best regards,
Software Support
