hello,

ok, now i know, that i can modifie the cad2shape.ini. you write, that the default names can be set

i made a change from ANGLE to ROTATION

[TextAttribs]
; Note: 10 characters maximum length
TEXT=TEXTSTRING
FONT=FONT
HEIGHT=SIZE
STYLE=STYLE
ANGLE=ROTATION
JUST=ALIGN
VJUST=VJUST

but the text attributes dialog always show angle and it's not possible to change it in the dialog.
Can you help?

Hi Juegen,

Yes, appararently if a translation has already been done on a particular file then the field name that was used in the previous translation of that file will be used in preference to the default name in cad2shape.ini. And also editting the field name in the dialog has no effect.

This will be fixed in the next software update next week.

In the meantime a workaround is to locate the .DEF file for the previously translated file and either edit it to give the preferred field name (or simply delete it so that the default name in CAD2Shape.ini will be used.)
