The request in my previous Region Extent posting that the Region Filter panel "Use current region extents for other translations during this session" stay ticked (sticky) has been done for which thanks. However, it has highlighted another issue on a dataset I am currently updating. If I select a file that has previously had a region extent applied to it, the region extents that I have set are changed to the region extents last used for that file. As you might imagine, this means a lot of extra work changing the extent each time (with the possibility of error) and it makes the stickiness of the region extent setting useless when dealing with frequently used files. I can certainly see value in the old region extent being used in some situations. But to avoid these hidden embedded extents being unknowingly applied, I guess a 'Use region extent from last use of this file' selection similar to the 'current region extents' would need to be available in the Region Filter panel. On the face of it, these selections would be mutually exclusive. But perhaps there are users who would want the current region extents applied unless there is an embedded extent, in which case the latter would be applied? Regards, Kenny
