The software is updated from time to time to the Hpgl2CAD download page.  This page lists the changes between each update.

Hpgl2CAD 2.0 C.70 - 2 March 2003

New:
Updated user manual
[HPGLPenWidths] section in Hpgl2CAD.INI file allows setting of user defined Pen Widths. Refer to user manual topic 'Configuration File' for details.
Support Linetypes.
Only output Layers that are used.
'Numpens=n' setting may be specified in Hpgl2CAD.INI file to set the _default_ number of pens to other than the HPGL default setting of 8 color pens (must be power of 2, e.g. 2,4,8,16,...)

Fixed:
Previous beta versions C.50 to c.52 may give error 'unresolved Layers' and give empty dxf or dwg file.
Some headers were being non-interpreted or interpreted incorrectly.

Handle RR RA
Handle EXTMIN/EXTMAX - so that MSWord can read DXF files.
/MONO switch gives 1 color (black/white)
Fix was crashing if wrong params on command line
Fix polygon mode being entered and Polyline Encoding mode entered with Pen Up, was treating as entered with Pen Down. Symptom - sliver's present in drawing.
Eliminate identical last point from closed polyline boundary in HATCH
definitions.  AutoCAD objects. Affects /DXF14 switch only.
Fix colors not always changed in center of polyline.
Fix Circles not being drawn using user units Radius.
Fix some Arcs being drawn the wrong way.
Polygon Mode was ignoring Pen Up moves, whereas all moves are vertices in Polygon Mode whether Pen was moved up or down
flgIgnoreRotate default set to 0

Hpgl2CAD 1.25 A.10 - A.25 October 2001

Fix PE encoding start needs always Pen Down
Fix arcs wrong when angle was negative.
Add command line option to start Hpgl2CAD.HLP
Fix 'PC' command was not working correctly.
Support direct output R14 DXF plane color fills output.
Text was being scaled incorrectly (not taking into account plotter units
scale)
Some Scaling was wrong (effects SR size relative for text)
