Keep attributes when converting Shapefiles to DWG/DXF

Shapefiles usually contain several feature attributes. By using this function, you can select which Feature Attributes to convert and keep the attributes in newly converted DWG/DXF.

STEP1: First, select a shapefile.

STEP2: Then tick Feature Attributes and press "Specify" button.

STEP3: Select Feature Attributes that you want to translate to AutoCAD.

STEP4: In this example, select DHNAME and then press "-->" button. Then DHNAME is displayed in "Field to Translate".

STEP5: Next, select COMPDATE and then press "-->" button. Then COMPDATE is displayed in "Field to Translate".

STEP6: When completed to select attributes, Press OK button.

STEP7: Press Save button. Then the conversion will start.

STEP8: Press View Output button to view a converted AutoCAD drawing.

STEP9: Then let’s zoom up attributes on the AutoCAD drawing.

STEP10: As translated attributes, you can view DHNAME and COMPDATE on the converted AutoCAD drawing.
