Export shapefile to AutoCAD with Labels
Produce Text Labels from Features data. Powerful built in Auto-Label function.
By using this function, you can produce Text Labels in Auto CAD files from Features data in ESRI Shapefiles.
STEP1: Now choose the shapefile as source file.
STEP2: Tick "Feature attributes" and press "specify" button.
STEP3: Select an attribute in "Feature Attribute Fields" that you want to export as "Text ATTRIB" in AutoCAD file. This time, select "LNAME" and "MILES". Then press "-->" button.
STEP4: This time, "LNAME" and "MILES" are displayed in "Features to translate".
STEP5: To make more visible, change the text label's color to red pink. Click "Yellow" area next to Text Pen.
STEP6: Then choose red pink as you can see from the below photo.
STEP7: Then press "save" button to convert the Shapefile.
STEP8: Open a newly converted AutoCAD file on viewer software. Now you can see LNAME and MILES in red pink on DXF file! As you can see, you can easily apply colors corresponding to selected feature attributes and convert to AutoCAD text annotation.
